Your philanthropic journey starts with Empowerment Council

Learn, Network, Make An Impact!

Empowerment Council group photo from Danielle Shoots eventEmpowerment Council (EC) is The Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s group of emerging philanthropists that aspire change. EC members are committed to accelerating gender, racial, and economic equity.

EC members make a one-year gift of $500 or more, paid on a monthly, quarterly, or annual schedule – whichever is most doable for you. Your annual gift provides access to monthly EC events where you will build your professional network, enhance your knowledge of the issues impacting women’s advancement, and grow your leadership.

Your philanthropic journey starts with EC.

"I grew up in a very small town where doing what you could for your community was the expectation. The journey from being able to give time vs. money is still a balance, which is why I love the Empowerment Council – it is the best of both." - Taylor

"I believe women still have many pressing issues to face, but the one that concerns me most is our health. I believe we know our bodies better than any other person… sometimes even a doctor. I believe our own families and our own religions should be the only consults we have when facing any medical decision or doctor’s recommendation. Government has no place in deciding on things like a new kidney, a new cancer treatment, or a new baby." - Tari
