The Community Chest
Breast Cancer Survivors Build A More Connected and Empowered Denver Community
The Community Chest was started by community friends and breast cancer survivors with a clear goal - to bring together resilient, compassionate women who have survived the challenges of breast cancer diagnoses and treatment in order to share our strength, thankfulness, and desire to build a more connected and empowered Denver community for women and girls.
"The Community Chest was founded to leverage a shared survivorship experience into the opportunity to give back to women and girls across Denver. We are so thankful for the community that lifted us up in our time of need, and plan to pay that forward through meaningful grants to do the same through the incredible programs and giving opportunities of the Women's Foundation of Colorado." - Founding Member Ruth Rohs
Members pay $1,000 annually. Please note, breast cancer survivorship is not required to become a member! Donations of a smaller size may be made to the fund, with all fund proceeds being granted at the direction of members each year.
