Women Thriving. Colorado Rising.

Make it right. Donate today.

Did you know The Women's Foundation of Colorado is the only statewide community foundation focused on the advancement of Colorado's women?

Women are at the heart of our families, communities, and our economy. Yet, only 1.6 percent of all charitable contributions made in the U.S. fund organizations supporting women and girls. This is a missed opportunity - not just for women - but for us all. Because when women thrive, we all thrive.

Why invest in women now?

COVID-19 has exposed the gender and racial inequalities that continue to hinder the advancement of women and people of color. Without vigilance, action, and philanthropy, inequalities will deepen, and true recovery and prosperity will be unreachable.

CARES Act - Make It Right Campaign logoJoin the movement with WFCO to make it right. The federal CARES Act makes several temporary changes to the charitable contribution rules for the 2020 tax year. Taxpayers are eligible to deduct up to $300 of cash contributions as an “above the line” deduction (meaning even non-itemizing taxpayers can claim this deduction). In other words, if you donate $300 to The Women’s Foundation and your taxable income is $50,000, your taxable income becomes $49,700. Additionally, for individuals who itemize, the 50 percent adjusted gross income limitation is waived for certain contributions.*
