Woodard has graced the screen with her commanding performances, winning Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, Cable ACE Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.
Alfre is passionate about mentoring girls and was here in Denver last November at the Governor’s Mansion with Michelle Obama to help initiate Michelle’s national girls’ mentoring effort. Her presentation in November will be titled “Empowering Girls to be Next Generation Leaders.”
