Public Policy Fund

The 2010 funding cycle is currently closed. The Women’s Foundation of Colorado (WFCO) is focused on economic public policy reform, as we believe that changes in public policy will have the greatest positive impact in assisting women and girls in their efforts to achieve economic self-sufficiency.

Direct Service Fund

This funding opportunity is now open.
The Women's Foundation of Colorado will grant funds (up to $5,000 per application) to organizations throughout the state that are addressing various aspects of economic self-sufficiency.

Alfre is passionate about mentoring girls and was here in Denver last November at the Governor’s Mansion with Michelle Obama to help initiate Michelle’s national girls’ mentoring effort. Her presentation in November will be titled “Empowering Girls to be Next Generation Leaders.”

Urban Initiative for Reproductive Health

Women's Foundation President & CEO Gretchen McComb will serve on a Panel "Making the Connection: Reproductive Health & Women’s Economic Self-Sufficiency" during the Urban Initiative for Reproductive Health Rocky Mountain West Regional Summit, to be held in Denver in late September 2009.
