Colorado Springs Fill the Purse - Make the Change Luncheon

The Colorado Springs Regional Steering Committee is pleased to announce that Helen Thorpe will be the keynote speaker at the Colorado Springs Fill the Purse-Make the Change luncheon on September 8 at Cheyenne Mountain Resort.

Helen Thorpe, journalist and author, will share the story of four Mexican immigrant high school girls in suburban Denver from her recent book, Just Like Us.

We are asking you to join us and become a Table Captain for the Luncheon. As a Table Captain, we are asking you to contribute $250 to the sponsorship of your table. Invite 9 of your friends to join you for what is sure to be an interesting, thought-provoking, and spirited introduction to the work of The Women’s Foundation of Colorado and the words of Helen Thorpe.
